Recently I have been called up by my supervisor at office for the annual appraisal interview we have at the department. The first thing he respectfully asked: why are you still working here after three years, considering your resume and abilities? Then continuing: you are a foreigner in Hong Kong; you can make lots of money by just shaking hands and signing papers at your desk. I was a little speechless, meaning: I know what my abilities are and purposes, meaning and responsibilities of my daily life at work, what else should I consider? So in conclusion: it is always good to realize your place in the whole world and to have a wider vision of yourself, a mind constantly open and free of charge.
