Meditation and cool breeze (vibrations)
Everything in creation emits vibrations, but the ability to feel them comes only with Kundalini awakening. Once Kundalini is awakened, vibrations can be felt on the palms of the hand, in the body and on top of the head as a cool or warm breeze. A person or a thing emitting cool breeze (not cold) is balanced and spiritually pure. Hot breeze or tingling or uncomfortable vibrations indicate an imbalance or a lack of harmony.
Once you have experienced the cool breeze on the hands, it is possible to detect similar vibrations emitted from other objects or even situations.
Everything has a vibration
You might say everything has a colour, a texture, a feel, a sound or a smell. That is how we know it. We recognize something and we can identify it with our senses. We give it a name. We know whether to be wary or cautious or welcoming by what our senses tell us.
But there is also another way: vibrations. Everything has a vibration.
Just as a person might be colour-blind, we can also be unable to sense these vibrations. Before Enlightenment (Self-realization), we are “vibration-blind” and we do not know it. We are not open to that side of our awareness. Nonetheless, the vibrations have always been there.
To catch the rain, we only have to turn bucket upwards.
When a radio which is switched on, like magic it begins to receive the music, the news, the message of the world. The invisible waves begin to make sense.
In the same way, with Enlightenment (Self-realization), a new avenue of sense available to us. We begin to get it. We start to feel the vibrations.
Simply put: this is our spirit talking to us.
It is not artificial. It is not based on our intelligence. It is not fed by our ego, created by our prejudice or constructed by our conditioning.
Vibrations are the straight story – straight from our spirit. Just as a rose is red, a fire is hot or a river is wet, the vibrations we feel are absolute.
Our spirit wants us to ascend, to become something better today than we were yesterday. Our spirit is our better self. It is our true self. It is the spark or flicker in our heart which is us. It is our inner self, the true self that remains when everything else is stripped away.
And when we listen to that spirit, when we feel the vibrations talking to us – as cool, as warm, as hot – we know which way to turn. We know what is correct and what is incorrect. Through vibrations we gain discretion. And that is our tool for growth.
So what are vibrations?
They are a new sense by which we can guide ourself through that forest of illusions, which we call our lives.
Vibrations are our spirit telling us which way to go. But first – we have to listen. We have to learn how to tune the dial.

Hi,
I sometimes feel a cool breeze on top of my head randomly (while watching TV, reading books etc) and sometimes I feel the Kundalini rising up my spine while just sitting down etc. What is happening and why is this happening? I’m worried and don’t know what to do…
Thanks

Hi Vishal
İf you are practising Sahaja Yoga and feeling the vibrations then there is nothing to be afraid of. This is the sign of the Kundalini awakening. You should learn the meaning when it is cool and warm depending on which hand you are feeling.
You may also feel the vibrations on top of your head on the last chakra.
When there is an imbalance in our emotional or mental side, then we feel warm. With the help of regular practice of Sahaja Yoga meditation, we can balance them thus inner peace, satisfaction and joy can manifest themselves within us.
You may also feel some sensations like tingling on any of your fingers which shows the blockage in the corresponding chakra.
Hope I can explain clearly.
Warm wishes

I can’t feel vibrations: when I feel something I think it might be autosuggestion. How can I feel if it? And how can i think of nothing during meditation? I can’t.

Francesca, don’t worry if you can’t feel anything straight away, i meditated over the course of a month before feeling anything, it’s different for everyone. For me it took a little more time because I used to smoke, and this blocked the 5th chakra on the throat, which allows us to feel the cool/hot vibrations. Try meditating for 5-10 min a day as an experiment and see how you feel after a week!
all the best

if a lot of thoughts come to your mind while meditating francesca just say this in your mind,
“Mother you are the doer, you are the enjoyer, I am just a reflection of God almighty,The pure spirit witnessing this eternal and divine play of yours”,Say it from your heart and then see the difference.
At least I said this many times before i got my realisation and started feeling the vibrations.
Coming to this strange experience of yours I would only like to say this, after your realisation you become a universal being not really bound by anything, If you are sensitive enough you will be able to see this subtle reflection of yours in mother nature and of Hers in you. So there is really nothing to worry about it..
