FREE Sahaja Yoga Meditation classes are being offered in Winnipeg for the 2017 third winter/spring season. Get your enlightenment by learning how to meditate to feel inner peace and joy, relieve stress, worries, depression, racing thoughts, anxious feelings, alleviate physical symptoms and more! The best part is that there are no hard poses, we simply sit in a chair with our hands open to receive, or on the floor if you prefer. Since this is the pure knowledge that does not come from books, it comes from inside, there is no prior experience required.

No one is “late,” so pop in at any point during the classes…you are “right on time” to receive your self-realization, the yoga, enlightenment.

It is recommended to attend more than one session consecutively, as no information will be repeated. A brief chakra chart of the human subtle system and channels will be introduced at the at the top of each hour. A guided meditation, music, short video clips will be shared to help grow deeper in the knowledge of your higher self.

Connect with your spirit, your higher self, your best self. Experiment with the truth of your being as this energy rises like the sap in the “tree of life” we all have inside, connect with mother earth, and learn the true knowledge and roles of the chakras, or energy centres in our subtle system which take care of our physical, mental, spiritual health.

Before achieving our self-realization, our mind is limited by the ego and super-ego as well as unhealthy attachments, conditionings and our thoughts coming from the past or future.Through a simple guided meditation known as “thoughtless awareness”, we expand our awareness of the present, which creates the space between the thoughts long enough for us to feel and to know that we are connected to everyone and everything. This awakening can be felt along the central nervous system as “vibrations” and has been described as a cool river or cool breeze in ancient scriptures. We can achieve the true meaning of the word Yoga, which means connection, with no hard poses. We connect to the unlimited, all pervading power of the universe.

The founder of Sahaja Yoga, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize twice, has always passed on this pure knowledge for free. The Petrovskaya Academy of Arts and Science in St. Petersburg bestowed upon Shri Mataji an Honorary Membership, telling her, “you are even higher than science.” Indeed, Saha means spontaneous, and ja means, born with, and Yoga means union in Sanskrit, an ancient, vibrational language.

In 1994 in New York City, to celebrate her association with Gandhi, September 26 was declared “Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Day.” She was welcomed with police escort and parade, and offered self realization and public talks world-wide, including for the United Nations on world peace, always for free. “It is your birthright, you are not to pay for it.” In 1995, her travels took her to Romania, where she was awarded Honorary Doctorate in Cognitive Science by Professor D. Drimer, head of the Ecological University in Bucharest. In 1996, the Italian government awarded her “personality of the year” for her self realization programs while in residence and subsequent trips. By 2006 she was awarded Honorary Italian Citizenship for her vast achievements and work for the betterment of humanity. Feel free to visit the following websites for supplementary guidance in addition to the collective meditation workshops which are practiced in over 100 countries world-wide http://www.free-meditation.ca or http://www.freemeditation.com to find out more about Sahaja Yoga.

Sahaja Yoga is a scientific discovery, the founder, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi has said “There can be no peace, until there is peace within.”

More dates will be added every few weeks as we book in rotating libraries, which offer free space. Sahaja Yoga is a not for profit all volunteer, qualified team. Want us to come to your venue and offer a free class? We have a limited amount of sessions we can offer and simply come to you for larger groups, organizations, corporate programs or schools…call 289-242-2755 or email [email protected] or contact the official websites here.

    Dear Maya,

it appears to be no classes in Winnipeg as of today, we do have someone planning on opening one, the plan has however not yet been started.

I will let you know more once I hear from that person. In the meantime, maybe you could try to attend every so often a place in a neighborhood city, where a class is held or just continue online classes such as those from the website http://www.onlinemeditation.org/.

    Let me know if anything,
    Erwan
