Sahaja Yoga

Sahaja Yoga Meditation

Sahaja Yoga Meditation is meant for everyone who desires to find his or her true self, which is full of peace, joy of life and love for others. It is not just a book or a set of exercises but a living science that will open up to you gradually as your meditations become deeper and your experience stronger and more fulfilling.

Sahaja Yoga Meditation was developed by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. It involves the awakening of a subtle spiritual energy known as the Kundalini which lies dormant in the sacrum bone at the base of the spine in three-and-a-half coils. The gentle awakening of this Kundalini energy and the inner journey of self discovery is known as Enlightenment (Self-realization).

Sahaj means ’spontaneous’ or ‘born with you’ and yoga translates as ‘union’ (with the Divine or all-pervading power). Sahaja Yoga Meditation then translates as ‘the method of divine union through yoga which everyone is born with’.

Sahaja Yoga Meditation classes are held in over 80 countries around the world and are always provided free of charge. Right from the earliest days, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi made it clear that this knowledge and the process of union effected by our Self-realization is the birthright of every human being and therefore cannot be charged for.

    Hi Hayley,
There are several classes in Calgary but if you can’t make the trip to “the city”, check out http://www.freemeditation.tv for online classes, Tuesdays at 7pm (your time) or enjoy some of the classes on this website. You’re in such a beautiful part of the country, you’ll have very nice meditations sitting outside on the Mother earth or if the mountain water isn’t too cold, meditating with your feet in the river.
    Enjoy!

I am seriously want to stop smoking, but what makes me mad is that i have no control on myself to do that, although i play sport, yoga athna & stretching and meditation. I was searching for Sahaja Meditation because i read that it could help stop smoking . Please i need your advise, and would highly appreciate if you tell me how to start and what to do exactly. And is it true that Sahaj Mediation and awakening of kundalini could really make me stop smoking?? Thank you in advance for your support and assistance.

    Dear Manal,

It is a fact that you can easily quit smoking with regular practise of Sahaja Meditation. Kundalini purifies and clears all the impurities within the body thus the desire or attachment to smoking vanishes. I recommend you attending a local Sahaja Meditation class or take our online course.

    Warm wishes
