Music of Joy—joyful music and dance, and a deep spiritual experience.  A unique show open to the general public and always free anywhere in the world.  Music of Joy was presented on March 24th 2007 for the first time in Vancouver , in the Conference Hall of the Downtown Central Public Library.

Based on Indian artistic expression, Music of Joy is a fascinating program which delivers a beautiful marriage between the spirituality, music and dance of this country.  The Music of joy program consists of “bhajans”—traditional, devotional and blissful music dedicated to the eternal and divine principles within all human beings; and dance choreography, both classic and modern.

Music of Joy is an introduction to a deep, universal spiritual experience—Self Realization—an individual’s own connection with the real peace and joy within.   Under the guidance of the presentor, the audience receives a rich, first hand experience of Self-Realization, Sahaja Yoga and the universal culture it offers.  Seekers are also introduced to the spiritual teachings of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, the founder of Sahaja Yoga.  Since 1970, Shri Mataji has been giving the experience of Self-Realization throughout the world, always free of charge. Nowadays, Sahaja Yoga is practised in over 100 countries.
